The Oval Tap is designed to shine a stream of light through the water to change its appearance as it flows. The integrated, heat sensitive LED light shines a red or blue light to indicate the temperature of the water as soon as it senses hot or cold. Not only does this make spending time in the kitchen more fun, but it is also a great safety feature for young children as it offers a visual check on the temperature.And at small cost to the environment. There is no need for an electrical connection or batteries and the LED light can be changed if necessary. It is however expected to last a minimum of 20,000 hours.
The Hydro Tap from Zip Heaters is designed to save time and energy. It effortlessly dispenses boiling hot or chilled, filtered water at the touch of a button. You need never wait for the kettle to boil, as the perfect cup of tea or coffee can be made in an instant providing huge energy savings.

Test conducted by Aston University show that the Hydro Tap is up to 40% more efficient than a kettle. It comes with a choice of two sleep modes, meaning the tap can be set to power down the unit automatically when not being used. A child-proof safety lock prevents accidental use.
