International award winning kitchen available in Exeter
Trendsetting Devonians can now get their hands on their own piece of internationally acclaimed design at local kitchen designer, Bradbury’s.
ALNO’s award winning glass kitchen - Trendstudie 2011 - has won a coveted Red Dot Product Design Award. Red Dot is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world, attracting over 1,600 entries from 57 countries.
The kitchen (shown right) is a collaboration between German kitchen manufacturer ALNO, Bosch and specialist glass maker Schott.
Andy Bradbury, owner of Bradbury’s, explains what makes the kitchen so unique
“All of the fronts have a consistent satinised brown glass design. The matt finish sweeps across the door fronts as well as the fitted Bosch appliances, creating an elegant, seamless finish.”
Andy continues, “As living and kitchen areas continue to merge, the kitchen is no longer solely a place to prepare meals.
“This is a trend that domestic appliance manufacturers cannot ignore, in fact quite the opposite, as consumers desire a sleek uniform finish, rather than ugly appliances that jump out at you.”
Brown glass
The fronts feature a special safety glass, SatinPlus™ which has been etched to create a frosted finish that is velvet soft to touch.
