Soften up for spring
Furniture makers continue to take their lead from the world’s top fashion designers, and this year’s spring/summer season is no exception. The catwalks are awash with soft pastel hues, creams, whites and nudes and the same can be said of the latest bedroom and furniture designs from leading manufacturers Hülsta and Leolux.

Leolux takes neutral stance
Leolux is renowned for its bold and quirky designs. It has introduced a softer colour palette to some of its classic furniture pieces this spring. Kikko, Leolux’s chaise lounge style chair, is now available in a muted cream and mocha colour combination to create the perfect place to relax with a good book.
The Kikko also has a surprise up its sleeve — when you lift the back rest slightly it turns 90° to the left or right, transforming the chaise lounge into a comfortable seat with an extra place beside it, perfect for sharing!

Continuing the theme for lighter tones, the ever popular Gisa chair is offered in a bright white to lift any room.
The swan like swivel chair offers an incredibly comfortable seat and will certainly create a talking point!
Calming bedrooms
This spring it’s all about solid wood for the bedroom — walnut, oak, beech and alder are mixed with creamy high gloss finishes for a calming, tranquil feel. Hülsta’s Manit range, new for 2010, offers a clean and uncomplicated design that highlights the beautiful oak and alder finishes perfectly.
The glass fronted wardrobes offer a highly reflective surface that bounce light around the room and compliment the soft leather components. The light mink walls and pastel accessories help to set the room apart.

High gloss fronts remain a must have and can be seen in the updated La Vela II bedroom range.
Hülsta’s timeless classic continues to offer a graceful, relaxing bedroom with this season’s neutral, calming tones.
The latest bedroom ranges, along with a number of Leolux pieces are on display at Bradbury’s Exeter showroom in Matford Park. Stand back and experience a complete room, get up close to feel the quality of the workmanship or even put your feet up with a cup of freshly made coffee!
